Resisting Systemic Collusion Working with Criminalised Victim Survivors

On May 25th, 2023 we had an incredible turn out for the launch our our tip sheet for resisting systemic collusion with criminalised victim survivors.

We kicked off with a welcome to country by Wurundjeri Elder Perry Wandin.  Followed by an introduction to the resource, a tip sheet on how to best support criminalised survivors, on the Panel we were joined by Lesly Zambrano Access and Inclusion Advisor at Safe and Equal, Rei Alphonso the Family Violence Justice Project Supervisor and Yasmine Jensen-Solyom.

We then invited Aunty Rieo Ellis from Grandmothers Against Removal and staunch lived experience advocates Jacqui, Jaz, and Lyanne to continue the conversation on resisting systemic collusion.

Concluding with closing statement from Karen Fletcher the Executive Officer of Flat Out and a fun filled and enjoyable grand finale of the HOMES NOT PRISONS ACTIONS.

From the bottom of my heart, thank you.
